Braun Film Completes Documentaries for One of the Largest Companies in the World

Agency: The History Factory

We are proud to announce the completion of a series of documentaries and educational videos for a large Middle Eastern oil company as part of its 75th corporate anniversary.

The world’s largest national oil company not only celebrated when it turned 75 years old, but, more importantly, it fully leveraged the milestone as a platform to strategically communicate core goals, messages, and initiatives to a wide spectrum of key audiences. As one of the ways to celebrate the 75th corporate anniversary, The History Factory, the client’s agency of record, developed two cutting edge, custom-built mobile museum exhibits that traveled throughout the Middle East as part of the company’s corporate anniversary celebrations to teach the history of petroleum and how the industry impacts people around the world. The custom traveling exhibit contained 19 video screens–all working in tandem–which were arranged and built into two tractor trailers to provide a higly engaging multimedia experience that allowed for complete mobility.

Given the “never been done before” scenario Braun Film was faced with, we consulted with a number of experts representing the various disciplines necessary to complete the several video projects required. These experts included museum designers, video engineers, Saudi cultural experts, programmers, etc… The several video pieces were shot in Dubai and produced entirely in Arabic. Special attention was dedicated to cultural sensitivities, communication across multiple time zones, weatherization and ruggedness of equipment, and a host of other detail oriented minutiae. This was a year long undertaking and required a team of 40+ people.

Exhaustive in terms of size and scope, Braun Film & Video was proud to see everything come together in time to make the client’s 75th corporate anniversary an immense success.
