Working with Nation Branding firm and longtime client, Coast to Coast Communications, Braun worked extensively this summer and fall on various media to support the nation of Kazakhstan’s efforts to earn a rotating seat on the United Nations Security Council. Deliverables included a short-form (:90 second) ‘commercial’ piece which was effect heavy, featured very specific actor roles (for which we identified and secured talent from around the country) and was shot locally here in DC.
The other primary video was a longer form (7 minute documentary) featuring interviews and b-roll that took us from Washington, DC to the United Nations in New York City, all the way to the Kazakh capital of Astana – where, in addition to interviews, we shot extensive b-roll utilizing specialty gear including time lapse sliders and a remote control drone for aerials.
