In an effort to help The Hartford Insurance Company celebrate their bicentennial anniversary, Braun Film has been retained by The History Factory of Chantilly, VA to produce a series of 12 short documentary style video segments honoring The Hartford’s past. These story-driven productions each focus on a singular ‘moment in time’ as a way of honoring the insurance company’s contribution to 200 years of service to their clients. The videos feature historical and archival materials, as well as contemporary footage illustrating everything from the original policy written for Abraham Lincoln’s log cabin, to describing the company’s enormous pay-out after the tragedy of 9-11. The videos will be seen on-line and at Hartford events during the company’s celebration this year.
